Established in 1993 by James P Lynch Jr. in Des Moines, IA, the 801 Restaurant Group is a portfolio of privately owned restaurants through out the major cities of the Midwest. 801 Chophouse, the flagship brand, offers diners USDA grade Prime beef, jet fresh sea food, a Wine Spectator Awarded wine list, and has also received recognition as a DIRONA establishment; this concept can be found in Des Moines, IA, Omaha, NE, Kansas City, MO, Leawood, KS, and St. Louis, MO.
PIG & FINCH GASTROPUB, founded in 2012, is the second brand to the portfolio and offers diners fresh local ingredients with fine cookery in a pub-friendly environment. Guests can enjoy this concept in Leawood, KS, as well as Omaha, NE.
The final brand to the portfolio is 801 FISH, the freshest concept to date and the first establishment is scheduled to open in Fall of 2013 in Leawood, KS. This creative menu offers globally sourced pristine finned fish in a lively and sophisticated setting, complimented by an award winning wine list.
